We are thrilled to be Toyota Newslift’s latest contributor! The TMH/Toyota Advanced Logistics North America (TALNA) partnership has produced numerous successes, and we are eager to convey them. Each month we will share successes and discuss how we can help your dealership meet all your customers’ automated material handling solutions (AMHS) needs, from conveyor to advanced robotic systems powered by artificial intelligence. In this issue, we will highlight a dealer project, last year’s performance, and provide a roadmap for the next two issues. SUMMIT TOYOTALIFT’s CONSUMER TOOL MANUFACTURER PROJECT TALNA’s subsidiary, Bastian Solutions, is wrapping up an automation project for a manufacturer of consumer power tools in partnership with Summit ToyotaLift. Totaling approximately $6 million, the project includes conveyor, software, and robotic palletization. The customer is also considering follow-on projects with Summit ToyotaLift and TALNA! Robotic Palletizer Installed at Tool Manufacturer Summit ToyotaLift chose to provide the lead to Bastian Solutions and received a referral payment of approximately $100,000. With other engagement options that include turnkey proposals for you to mark up or even just equipment to resell, TALNA has flexibility in how it engages with your dealership, ensuring our partnership maximizes the value delivered to your customers. FYE 2021 PERFORMANCE REVIEW With the economic challenges associated with COVID-19, last year was exceptionally challenging. Fortunately, Toyota Dealers have exceptional resolve. In a remarkable display of tenacity, dealers logged over $16 million dollars in new automation sales last year. Although we are still early in the year, FYE 2022 promises to be even better. With consumers shopping more and more online, companies are rushing to automate to support increasing e-commerce demand. If your customers are struggling to adapt, do not hesitate to contact TALNA (see our contact information at the end of the article). We are eager to help!
