Dealer Implementation Update: On April 12, 2021, Dealer Connect went live with our first pilot dealer, Toyota Material Handling MidSouth. We began implementation with our second pilot dealer, Southwest Toyotalift, and it is currently underway with the Data Migration phase of the process. Our team is growing! The TMH Dealer Connect family has grown by THREE! Please join us in welcoming Darren Reighard: Senior Manager of Dealer Systems & Operations, Al Sayler: Dealer Systems Project Manager, and Dong Ngo: Data Migration Analyst. These additions are instrumental in our ability to accelerate and scale the Dealer Connect project within TMH. Dealer Connect System Demos: With new releases of functionality and integrations upon us, the Dealer Connect team is preparing another round of demonstrations offered to the Dealer Network beginning in September and leading into Toyota Week. Stay tuned for more details! *Dealer Connect provides systems support for Equipment Sales, Rental, Parts Sales, Service, Project Management, and Finance. It has three elements… (1) Central Connect which is the ERP function handling orders, inventory, invoicing, planning, and accounting/finance, (2) Sales Connect which provides CRM support to help sales personnel manage their leads, opportunities, quotes, and sales activities, and (3) Tech Connect which provides a paperless system for technicians provide repairs/maintenance on customer equipment. **A project conceived as part of the TMHNA strategy to improve the satisfaction of multi-territory customers, Dealer Connect objectives have expanded to include support of processes to improve consistency and quality of our interactions with all customers. It will also help streamline dealer work processes, improve access to information, and enhance communication between dealers and TMH and TICF systems/personnel. It is a key element of TMH’s efforts to create My Toyota, a customer portal that will strengthen our relationship with customers and provide an unmatched competitive edge for our dealers.
