As TMH prepares for the 2023 telematics launch, having a clear understanding of how this new offering impacts each dealership is critical in the decision-making and direction process. TMH created a Telematics Dealer Task Force to ensure dealership feedback is captured in a constructive and organized manner. An important outcome of this task force is to understand a day in the life of each dealership role to determine how telematics can impact and improve specific tasks.
TMH Associates from Advanced Services, Dealer Development, and Field Sales and Technical Support were on site to understand and create process maps for daily tasks of dealer Associates from the Dispatch, Technician, Rental, and Fleet/CSS/Sales groups. This collaborative group was able to determine which tasks within their processes could potentially be impacted by telematics.
