Toyota National Accounts and Dealers ended 2021 on a high note by working collaboratively to identify various opportunities for Coca-Cola to improve their fleet conditions while reducing costs.
With collaboration from Shoppa’s Material Handling, Hugg & Hall, and Toyota Lift of South Texas, these Dealers were able to help Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages improve their operating productivity by increasing their fleet by 446 forklifts, which included both Class 1 and 3 equipment. Toyota was able to beat out Crown and Junghenrich to better serve Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages’ 7 production plants and 37 sales and distribution facilities across Texas, parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
With the help of Summit ToyotaLift, Maintainco, and ToyotaLift Northeast, Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages is now able to better operate their 3 production plants, and 8 distribution centers with the new additions of the 700+ Class 1 and 3 forklifts that have been added to their fleet. National Accounts and these Toyota Dealers were able to successfully identify the pain points of these customers to deliver a simple solution while reducing costs compared to that of its competitor, Crown.
We congratulate all of these Dealers on their hard work and success in helping acquire both of these deals. It is wonderful to see such strong collaboration among dealerships and a great way to conclude 2021 and begin a new year at Toyota.
