On March 25, TMH will be hosting a  dealer Microsoft “Teams” session to review and discuss the third “chapter” of the Dealer Playbook — focused on Service Parts. A group of several highly successful TMH Dealers and several TMH Dealer PAC members will share their findings and recommendations from the Service Parts Playbook published in January of this year.

The structure of this Dealer Playbook focuses on the Customer experience utilizing several key processes, best practices, and idea-sharing examples related to Service Parts and geared towards:

  • Providing Solutions
  • Availability and Parts Inventory
  • Request and Fulfillment
  • Technology and Data
  • Synergy / Leadership
  • KPI’s
  • ASEC


To standardize Dealer Best Practices that exceed customer expectations, build customer loyalty, and improve Dealer profitability, TMH is working with the Dealers to create a dynamic Dealer Playbook by the functional department. The Playbook will also ensure customers have a consistent, best-in-class experience. Our goal is to make it easier for the end-customer to do business with the Dealers and Toyota. Dealers will also have more opportunities to add value to their customers by utilizing proven best practices across the Dealer network. Dealers will focus on a “critical few” Key Performance Indicators, or KPIs, which will help to ensure they are managing the business at a level that increases operational efficiency, customer loyalty, and overall profitability.
