On May 25, our Make-A-Wish recipient, 14-year-old Adelyn Spahr, arrived at our headquarters in Columbus, IN, and participated in our ‘CEO for the Day’ event. This was Toyota’s 9th Make-A-Wish recipient. Adelyn and her family were welcomed by a parade of Toyota Associates lining the parking lot with bubbles, signs, and noisemakers. Throughout the day, Adelyn and her family were able to tour the facility, Adelyn made important decisions as our acting CEO, and the day concluded with a special surprise. Toyota was thrilled to announce that we were able to grant Adelyn’s wish for her and her family to go to Hawaii. Adelyn and her family are currently in Hawaii enjoying their vacation and are excited to share photos and their experience with us in next month’s issue.
