PRODUCT TRAINING
22 in 22 Regional Product Training: Niels Ostergaard and Dustin Fullerton have been on the road conducting training on the 22 new electric products launched at Toyota Week in 2022. The 1.5 days of training on product features, options, applications, and markets are designed to assist sales reps with generating new opportunities and growing market share. The training covers the new Stand Up Rider, Reach Trucks (pantograph and moving mast), Enclosed End Rider, Low-Level Order Picker, and 48V & 80V Electric Pneumatic Forklifts.

5 sessions have been completed so far this year in the South Atlantic, Northwest, South, and North Atlantic districts, with 152 Sales professionals and dealer leadership attending. There are 8 remaining sessions across 6 districts. See the link below for registration, locations, and dates.

The Toyota Logistics Solutions Workshop is a four-day, in-person comprehensive introduction to warehouse operations. Created in partnership with Vincennes University, the program details the purpose and process of completing a standard site survey. The workshop is designed for Sales associates who have limited experience in the warehouse environment or have 5 years or fewer of experience in material handling.
Congratulations to our June 17 Toyota Logistics Solutions Graduates: Toyota Logistics Solutions is a 3.5-day Toyota Logistics Solutions program. Participants will learn about warehouse operations and how to provide end-to-end solutions in this space. Participants will be introduced to warehousing terminology, the functions of warehousing, and the various products and services available to help customers improve processes and increase productivity.

TECHNICIAN SPOTLIGHT

David Stone – Atlantic Coast Toyotalift
David has been a technician for 11 years. The thing he enjoys most about being a technician is getting to work in different locations on a variety of equipment.
When asked what he looks forward to most in becoming a platinum technician, he stated, “Continually improving skills and knowledge.” To prepare for the Platinum Test, he reviewed training materials and printed certain diagrams in larger form for easy viewing.
An interesting fact about David is he enjoys using and repairing antique Ford farm tractors.
His hobbies include farming, kayaking, fishing, and hunting.
