Meet the Dealer Connect Team
In this month’s dealer newsletter, we are going to focus on the Dealer Connect Operational Supportpillar. The Dealer Connect Operational Support pillar is made up of four sections, and this month we will focus on the training side of the support.
Rusty Tomlinson is the Learning Experience Designer for the support team. Rusty spent five years as the Senior Sales Trainer/Designer for the TMH Training Department and was responsible for designing and facilitating all sales-related training for virtual and classroom environments for TMH to the dealer network. As the learning experience designer for Dealer Connect, he also wears several hats related to training support. His primary responsibility is to create and manage all WalkMe content for “real-time” training within the Dealer Connect system.
So, what is WalkMe?

WalkMe is that training solution and, in its most basic form, literally walks an end-user through the Dynamics process in real-time (think of it as GPS for learning). The software overlays the BC platform and guides the user, step by step, to a successfully completed transaction (see example below):

This is a game changer in terms of training and support because it meets the end-user at their moment of need. Not all users have the same issue simultaneously, and WalkMe addresses problems that resonate with the end-user in real-time. Instead of calling the support help desk or waiting for a training session to answer your question, WalkMe provides guidance in real-time, at the point where the user is stumped. This means transactions are completed correctly while the user learns to navigate the process.

WalkMe also provides real-time analytics to consistently identify potential knowledge gaps, which allows our builders to build proactive solutions before they become issues. If you would like to see a demonstration of WalkMe in action, please join us for our September Dealer Demo.
