Dealer Connect Data Prep Academy
The TMH Dealer Engagement Team announces Dealer Connect Data Prep Academy.
As a way to accelerate their implementation project, the Data Prep Academy guides Dealers through the necessary steps to successfully move their existing business system data into Dealer Connect.
The academy is a hands-on, 16-week virtual (via Microsoft Teams) university-style course for groups of TMH Dealers starting four to six months prior to their implementation project. Laura Hefferan is the architect and designer of the Dealer Connect Data Prep Academy. Anthony Dossier will be facilitating the 16-week Dealer Connect Data Prep Academy course.
There is no cost for Dealers to participate in the Data Prep Academy, and each participant will finish the class with an individualized data prep file and an excel workbook containing the Dealer’s specific data prep files that are needed for data conversion.
The Academy is a blend of classes, homework assignments, and office hours designed to enable the Dealer’s Data Specialist to complete the majority of the required data prep activities in a structured, collaborative and repeatable way. It gives Dealer data specialists the opportunity to network with their counterparts at other dealerships, while strengthening relationships within the channel.
Additionally, the Dealer’s data specialist will develop the knowledge, skills, and proficiencies to complete the data prep activities that are required to migrate their existing data into Dealer Connect prior to the start of their implementation project.
Finally, throughout the 16-week Data Prep Academy, the Dealer’s Data Specialist will also see and learn how Dealer Connect functions; providing a head start to the training phase.
