What is Dealer Connect and what exactly does it do? More importantly, let us share what Dealer Connect has done for you in 2022.

This has been an exciting and productive year for the Dealer Connect team, and we would like to share some of the highlights of the year and what the future has in store for 2023 and beyond.


2022 Highlights:

Dealer Demonstrations: Dealer Connect began facilitating dealer demos opening with a Service Management demo and closed with a live demonstration of the WalkMe training platform and how it will ultimately benefit the dealer.

Accenture Engagement: After a thorough deep dive and a complete assessment of all Toyota processes Accenture formulated a holistic, orchestration approach to our systems.

Product Development: Our second version of the application was released to Southwest Toyotalift. Our 2nd release contained notable updates to improving the service invoice crediting process as well as updated SAP integrations for parts ordering and warranty registration.

Japan Funding: The funding process provided us the needed funding required to re-tool on how to execute the new orchestration plan. This is really creating a look into the full deliverable of what we committed to our dealers as far as the product itself.

Dealer Deployment: Southwest Toyota Lift helped DMS to enhance the deployment process including data migration, user training, user acceptance testing, post go-live hyper-care, the long term support process, and financial reporting.

Support Process Maturation: The implementation of the Service Now portal has allowed us to see the future of support where dealers can create and manage their own tickets. The Service Now portal automates the progression and eliminates the need for a lot of the manual work currently required by the support associates.

Data Prep Academy: The Data Prep Academy was developed as a course to accelerate dealer implementation by guiding dealers through the steps to successfully transfer their existing business system data into Dealer Connect.

CE Sales Functionality: For early next year, Senior Sales Leadership, in partnership with Dealer Connect, is developing a standardized sales process for sales professionals. This progression will align seamlessly with CE Sales functionality into a single, consolidated approach to training and development for understanding the sales progression and associated terminology related to the sales process to ensure we are not working in silos. More to come on this in 2023.
