Marci Soloman, an Industrial Solutions Consultant at Toyota Material Handling MidSouth, recently secured a warehouse truck order with The Carlstar Group, a leading manufacturer of specialty tires and wheels in Franklin, TN. The Carlstar Group serves a variety of markets ranging from agriculture to power sports.
Marci’s recent win consisted of a 64-truck deal with 52 class two trucks, including 22 reach trucks and 30 order pickers. The remaining 12 forklifts are class one trucks. Not only did Marci secure a large order with a great client, but she also helped them transition their fleet from Crown to Toyota equipment.
Marci credits her recent win to the Toyota Logistics Solutions (TLS) warehouse training that TMH offers by saying, “The warehouse training was crucial to helping me understand the full depth of my customer’s needs. Taking into account where their current operations are and their strategic growth plan, I was able to make some recommendations their previous supplier had overlooked and it helped build trust and a relationship with that customer that continues to grow with their other material handling needs.”
