Delta Air Lines received its first two Large Electric Tow Tractor units. The Toyota Large Electric Tow Tractor is a versatile and powerful electric vehicle designed to meet the demands of the airline industry, logistics, distribution, and warehouse operations. These tow tractors will be hauling 40-50,000 lb. jet engines from the assembly plant after routine maintenance to their test cell and back for reattachment to the airplane.
To celebrate this special moment, Toyota Material Handling Systems Vice President, Zachary Smith invited Delta Air Lines and TMH Systems staff to a commissioning ceremony and broke a bottle of champagne to commemorate this significant milestone.
