Website Update
Since launching toyotaforklift.com in April, our marketing team has been working on optimizing the website as well as running personalization tests to deliver personalized content based on potential or existing customers’ interests. To date, we have created and successfully ran 11 personalization tests centered around the 3-Wheel Electric Forklift, the Electric Walkie Pallet Jack, SEnS+, and many other products through our new platform, Adobe Target. The goal of creating and running these personalization tests is to not only deliver the user personalized content faster but encourage them to convert to a lead.
We have set KPIs centered around the website that we believe will help us accomplish this goal. Our first goal is to increase time on the website by 15%. This would mean wanting to see an increase in how long a user stays on the website. Assuming we are creating more personalized content, an individual should be staying on longer looking at content. Secondly, we would like to see the bounce rate, which is the percentage of visitors that enter the website and then leave immediately, decrease by 10%. With more relative content, the less like someone would immediately leave the site. We would also like to see an increase in leads by 15% year-over-year. Currently, we are on target to reach all of these goals, but have actionable counter-measures ready if necessary. We are excited to see how the new toyotaforklift.com is currently performing and continuing to learn about these new platforms we now have.
