The end of the year is quickly approaching! The Toyota Material Handling manufacturing shutdown schedule begins on December 23, 2023. We will return on January 2, 2024.
TSDR quoting resources are limited during the holiday season. We ask that you do not procrastinate on submitting new requests. There will be limited staffing available for questions and quoting on December 27, 28, and 29.
We know how important it is to return quotes to you promptly. If everyone waits to submit quotes at the end of the year, there is a strong likelihood these may not get answered in the time you need. This is based on past experiences of receiving large volumes of quotes at the end of the year. To combat this and to give you the quickest response on quotes, please place your requests early in the month.
IF THE ABOVE IS NOT POSSIBLE:
We know that sometimes customers do not allow you to get the TSDR in this time frame. For that reason, we are offering the WAIT option again this year. This option is only available for products built in Columbus, IN.
If you know that an order will require an added TSDR and that getting this completed by year-end is not possible, please add the option code “WAIT” to the order (Available December 18, 2023).
If you are placing an order that requires R00A or R00B and you are unable to complete the paint map process and getting this complete by year-end is not possible, please add the option code “WAIT” to the order (Available December 18, 2023).
• This option will only be available to orders placed before the end of the year (December 31, 2023).
• If “WAIT” is applied to the order, you will have until January 26, 2024, to get the TSDR or Paint Map added to the order via spec change with no additional charges. In addition, no need to submit a spec change request through ZENDESK, the changes can be executed via the Portal without TMH approval.
• The “WAIT” option will apply the standard TSDR lead time to the order. Additional lead time may be added once the spec is changed, based on the TSDR applied, and the date of the change.
• TSDRs applied to trucks with the “WAIT” option have until January 12, 2024, to be submitted.
