Mid Market District Changes

During Toyota Week in 2022, the Aftermarket Field Operations team unveiled significant adjustments to the Aftermarket District Manager (ADM) territory alignments. We introduced two new Regional Aftermarket Manager (RAM) field positions. We established the “Mid Market District” and designated a dedicated ADM to exclusively cater to Mid Market Dealers. This strategic move aimed to address several key objectives:

  • Enhance Dealers’ Sales Performance
  • Resolve Customer Issues Effectively
  • Improve Communication Channels
  • Foster Deeper Collaboration in the Field
  • Empower Decision Making Closer to the Dealer
  • Maintain a Coverage Ratio of 5:1 (excluding the Mid Market District)
  • Prioritize Focus on Mid Market dealers
  • Sustain the 1 ADM and 1 RSM Alignment with Dealers
  • On-ramp for New ADMs

During the Toyota Week announcement, we conveyed our intent to test this coverage approach, with the flexibility to adapt it in the future based on feedback. Following input from both the dealer network and TMH associates, we have decided to further enhance the approach by splitting the Mid Market District into Mid Market – East and Mid Market – West Districts. Consequently, Deanna Tichenor has been appointed to oversee the newly defined Mid Market East District, and an additional ADM, Sam Craner, has been hired to cover the Mid Market West District.

In addition to the Mid Market adjustment, we have implemented additional changes to ensure balanced coverage within our districts:

  • Shoppa’s Mid America transitions to the South District, led by ADM Phillip Rose.
  • Badger relocates to the North Central District, now under the guidance of ADM Jeff Beck.
  • Winchester Equipment moves to the Mid Market East, with Deanna Tichenor as the ADM.
  • F-M Forklift Sales & Service shifts to the Mid Market West, managed by ADM Sam Craner.
  • Thompson & Johnson Equipment transfers to the Mid-Atlantic District, overseen by ADM Mark McKinley.
