Aftersales Service Evaluations and Certification (ASEC) is an assessment method that promotes kaizen activities within a dealer’s parts and service operations. This approach facilitates improvements in operational efficiencies and process optimization, thus fostering trust within the dealership’s customer base. The primary aim is to enhance operational safety while maximizing efficiency, enabling our dealers to achieve more with fewer resources.

TICO, TMH, TMHE (Europe) and Raymond ASEC Tour
In November, Toyota Material Handling (TMH) was privileged to host a global ASEC meeting with TICO, TMH, TMHE, and Raymond representatives. Our goal was to perform GEMBA walks at dealer locations to better understand what US dealers like about the current ASEC survey and identify areas of improvement. The ASEC group also took the opportunity to discuss the future of ASEC and how to leverage technology while making the survey more beneficial to the dealer and enhancing our explanation of the “what’s in it for you” piece to our dealers.
