Toyota Heavy Duty is honored to have launched a new technician recognition program! Each quarter, a technician who displays exceptional support in areas such as superior troubleshooting, newly conceptualized effective ways of repair, efficient use of the hotline, and superior customer service and communication will be recognized in the dealer newsletter and receive a small token of our appreciation.
We are proud to announce our very first THD Top Tech Award to Cora Pentecost for her outstanding contribution to the advancement and support of the Toyota Heavy Duty product line and her commitment to providing the very best in customer service. Cora comes from an automotive background but has, through hard work and dedication, adapted to the world of heavy-duty trucks with an excellent work ethic and strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Cora, along with her fellow technician Chris and their excellent dealer support team, gained a new marina customer who had been using multiple older Wiggins marina trucks. It was due to their excellent service that Toyota Material Handling Systems was able to gain multiple Marina truck orders. Cora, in preparation for the first THDM Marina truck install, took the initiative to understand and learn all she could about the truck prior to delivery. At the time of the install, she showed herself to be very skilled and versed in component knowledge. Cora also displayed excellent communication skills across the overall install of the truck, not only with her fellow Techs and the THD Technical Support staff but, most importantly, with the customer. Cora not only showed her skill in the install arena but also proved herself when using the support desk by providing all the vital data and all the significant detailed troubleshooting that she has performed. This has led to faster and more accurate resolutions to issues and concerns. One example was when she provided detailed troubleshooting information to the THD Technical Support team on an electrical issue, enabling the team to make a quick conclusion for the need to replace the master relay fuse module, solving the issue quickly for the customer. Thank you, and congratulations to Cora and the whole Toyota Material Handling Systems team!
