New Stand-Up Rider Sales Introduction

Toyota Material Handling is sharing an early look at the all-new Stand-Up Rider lineup in advance of future take-order timing. This announcement is part of an effort to provide earlier communication and training — an improvement requested by our dealers — so sales teams are better prepared before orders open. The new 8FBA lineup replaces the current SR1-BE and SR1-HP lineup and includes an updated no-tool cover design, adjustable tiller and armrest, new technology and performance enhancements, standard electric power steering, and more. Please review the details below outlining key launch milestones and available resources.

The new Stand-Up Rider will now be available in one model. The new 8FBA model will mirror the dimensions and capacities of the current SR1-HP model but will include new operator-assist features, increased lift speeds, improved feathering, and greater efficiency. The 8FBA model offers value packages to enhance the operator experience for your customers.

Packages include:

  • The Comfort Package includes an adjustable arm rest, adjustable tiller, operator knee pad, and Comfort Ride suspension.
  • The Technology Package includes a load weight, lift height, and tilt indicator built into the display.
  • The Performance Package includes industry-leading lift and travel speeds.

These packages are automatically selected when a new quote is created. They can be removed to help reduce the overall truck cost for price-conscious customers. The e-learning module further outlines which basic features will be applied to the truck when these packages are removed.
