Core Diesel Pneumatic Forklift

We are pleased to announce that U.L. Model Type DS is now available through the Toyota Special Design Request (TSDR) process for the Core Diesel Pneumatic Forklifts 40-8FGU20, 40-8FGU25, 40-8FGU30, and 40-8FGU32 models.
The Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) Type DS designation applies to diesel-powered units that incorporate additional components beyond those required for a standard Type D rating. A TSDR must be submitted to obtain current pricing for this feature.
Development of a standard U.L. Model Type DS factory option is currently underway, and additional details, including availability and pricing, will be announced at a later date.
U.L. Model Type DS Features:
TMH will install components associated with DS rating by TSDR
- U.L.- Approval Plate (Type DS) on the side of truck
- Covered wiring and connections
- Sealed Alternator
- Sealed Starter
- A manual disconnect switch on the instrument panel to disconnect battery
- Muffler design rated for U.L. Type DS
Benefits:
- Provides the components necessary to operate in classified environments listed by U.L. Laboratories requiring the U.L.-DS rating.
