Congratulations to our new Toyota Certified Trainers (TCT): We were fortunate to have our New TCT Training in person last month. 15 technicians from various dealers attended training April 12-14. VIRTUAL REALITY (VR)
lift Truck Supply utilizes virtual reality (VR) technology at career fair: Lift Truck Supply made a big splash at their local career fair with more than 80 local companies participating and over 1,600 students attending. 52 students registered for Lift Truck Supply’s career day (facility tour and casual interviews) taking place in May.
In addition to having a variety of trucks on-site, Lift Truck Supply was able to incorporate the virtual reality training demonstration as part of the student experience. Virtual reality is an engaging and memorable way to recruit technicians.

TOP ELEVEN TECHNICIANS SPOTLIGHT

Roger Rybacki – Conger Toyotalift
Roger has been a technician for 32 years. The thing he enjoys most about being a technician is going to the customer’s location and working directly with them. They are happy to see him because they know he will do everything he can to get their equipment up and running.
When asked what he looks forward to most on becoming a Platinum Technician he stated, “As always, I enjoy passing knowledge on to other technicians.” Some advice that Roger would give anyone wanting to pursue a career in our industry would be to have good communication skills and learn everything you can bout electric equipment.
An interesting fact about Roger is he has a strange thing about holidays. He was born on Palm Sunday, his daughter was born on the 4th of July, his son was born on Father’s Day and his divorce was final on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
His hobbies include spending time with his kids and passing on his knowledge to them, working outdoors, and riding his Roadking.
