Please join us in congratulating two incredible team members on their well-earned retirements.
First, Gary Chancellor is officially retiring at the end of June. Since joining Lift Truck Center in 2015, Gary has been a steady leader, trusted friend, and high-impact contributor across every branch. With 27 years of industry experience, he helped guide Sales Teams, Used Equipment, and even spent a short stint as Operations Manager. He leaves behind big shoes to fill, many stories, and a legacy of integrity and commitment.
We’re also celebrating Victor Barbosa from Toyota Material Handling Solutions, who retires after an extraordinary 31-year career selling Toyota forklifts. From 1991-2025, Victor sold an incredible 3,707 trucks, averaging 120 per year. To put that in perspective, that’s enough equipment to represent 25 full days of production at Toyota’s current daily capacity. Lined up end to end, those forklifts would stretch 6.3 miles — longer than the entire Rose Bowl parade route. Now that would be a parade worth watching.
Contributions like Gary’s and Victor’s don’t come along often. Their dedication, performance, and character have shaped our organization in lasting ways. We’re proud to have been part of their journeys and even prouder to celebrate the impact they leave behind.
