TMH recently announced a change to the MyInsights® pricing model for new equipment orders, enabling dealer profitability opportunities on the MyInsights® DHU.
Prior State: The DHU, a standard feature, was included in the Chassis List Price of the truck.
New State: The DHU remains a standard feature but is now a separate net price option priced outside the chassis. This allows for a standardized dealer gross profit allowance directly from the DHU.
- TMH reduced the chassis list price on all models that include the DHU as a standard feature.
- At standard discount, factory invoice amounts will remain unchanged.
- At higher than standard discounting, factory invoice amounts will increase (higher discounts = higher impact)
Eligible quotes above standard discount qualify for price protection.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for price protection, the following conditions must be met:
- The opportunity must have been originally quoted prior to May 26, 2026.
- The original quote must have a Price Effective Date (PED) between March 4, 2026, and May 25, 2026.
- The resubmitted opportunity must reflect the same options (spec) as the original opportunity.
- Retail Orders must be placed no later than June 30, 2026.
Price protection requests must be submitted to Sales Incentives no later than July 17, 2026.
Price Protection Request Process
To submit a price protection request, please follow the steps below:
- Send a new email thread for each request to Sales.Incentives@tmhu.toyota-industries.com.
- Use the following subject line: DHU Price Protection Request for Opportunity Number [Opportunity Number]
- Include the following two opportunities (printed quote worksheets) with your submission:
- The original CRM opportunity worksheet
- The updated CRM opportunity worksheet, with revised PED (May 26, 2026, or after) while maintaining the original GP percentages. System auto-generated GP percentage that reflects in the “Tech Net Price – Factory Options GP” line of the opportunity will be honored.
- In the body of the email, list all truck numbers ordered under the opportunity.
Submitted opportunities that do not meet the eligibility requirements are subject to denial.
