2027 Labor Rate Submission Process

Beginning September 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026, dealers may submit their 2027 Published Labor Rates through the Dealer Portal. TMH Warranty will not accept late submissions. Approved rates will take effect on January 1, 2027. Please see the submission process below.

Process

 

  1. Dealers submit their requested 2027 Labor Rate through the Dealer Portal by September 30, 2026.
  2. TMH Warranty reviews the requested rate and compares it with the national inflation rate.
  • If the requested rate is at or below the threshold:
  1. No additional action is required from the dealer.
  2. TMH Warranty approves the 2027 Labor Rate and informs the dealer.
  • If the requested rate exceeds the threshold:
  1. TMH Warranty notifies the dealer.
  2. The dealer must submit three competitor labor rates within 30 days of the notice.
  3. TMH Warranty reviews the dealer’s requested labor rate and the supporting competitor rates.

If tentative approval is granted:

  1. TMH Warranty notifies the dealer of the tentative approval.
  2. The dealer must still submit three invoices reflecting the requested labor rate by February 26, 2027.
  3. If the invoices are not submitted by the deadline, the dealer’s labor rate reverts to the approved 2026 Labor Rate.
  4. Final approval is granted once the required invoices are received.

If the requested rate is not approved:

  1. TMH Warranty notifies the dealer of the reason for denial.
  2. The dealer must submit a revised 2027 Labor Rate for consideration.
  3. TMH Warranty reviews the revised request using the same evaluation process outlined above.
  1. TMH Warranty updates all approved 2027 Labor Rates, effective January 1, 2027.
  2. TMH Warranty shares the approved 2027 Labor Rates with the Fleet and National Accounts teams.

Training

 

The Warranty Department will host a training session on August 19, 2026, to review the 2027 Labor Rate update process. Invitations will be sent approximately one week before the training to individuals on the dealer training invitation list.
